When life hurls one challenge after another at us, it’s hard for even the most upbeat among us to stay positive. It’s kinda been like that in my household lately. But last Saturday, when I woke up, the sun was shining and I was tired of feeling tired and beat down.
I decided that instead of focusing on the problems, I would turn my focus on the good things in my life. And wow, what a difference that made in how I felt and how I approached every task on my list. So simple, yet quite profound.
Sometimes it’s the little things that make us happy. Sometimes we can only think of one or two things for the day that we are grateful for. That’s okay.
