My love affair with words started in middle school with moody stories set in exotic locations I’d never visited. In college, my boy-angst erupted in disturbing reams of poetry. After grad school, the writing went into hibernation until I found my own happily-ever-after with a linear man who is the long-suffering counter-balance to my zig-zagging ways (more about that here). Now, I spend my days writing sexy, adrenaline-fueled stories, enjoying family and friends, and praying my children don’t come home with math homework.
The math thing. O.o
Can you relate? OMG.
Okay then, wanna know what kind of stories I write? Find out here.
And if you’re a need-to-know kinda guy or gal like me, here’s the long version bio… 😉
An unabashed optimist, I live in a small northern metropolis (can you use small and metropolis together?) where I have the best of both worlds. In less than an hour’s drive I have wide open spaces to the west, and lakes and timber wolf-prowled woods due east.
I write thrilling romance with a focus on psychological journeys because underneath the trappings of our outward appearances and circumstances, we’re all the same in our hunger for love and belonging. I’m also fascinated with the paranormal so I sometimes have elements of that in my stories. And they always have a happy ending.
When I’m not reading, writing, or dancing, some of my favorite activities happen in the great outdoors with my adventurous hubby and two enterprising children. My professional experience includes work in education, IT, the long term care industry, and ghost writing, though being a mother has been the most profound experience of my life.
